Pair of Italian Etched Copper and Brass Side Tables by G. Urso
Very unique tables, one in hand-etched copper, the other in brass, designed by G. Urso (Italy, 1950s). The triangular tops are mounted to hexagonal, walnut bases. The tops have been cleaned and polished, but slight wear remains (spots, indentations, and light scratches). Overall, in good, vintage condition. Signed G. Urso ‘Made in Italy.’

Pair of Italian Free-Standing Wall Units in Walnut on Ebonized Plinth Bases
$4,800.00Stylish freestanding wall units boasting bookmatched walnut veneer (ca. early 1970s, Italy). Each comes with a black vinyl seat (more for decoration than practical use).
The first unit features a functional light with elegant pull on / off string above open storage. The central cabinet is composed of two sliding doors (one in reinforced tempered glass, the other in walnut) concealing single fixed shelf storage (one / side). Dramatic, carved, ebonized, block pulls complement both the black vinyl removable cushion and plinth base.
Below the cabinet nestle two shallow, dovetailed drawers above open storage. The bottom cabinet (which is a separate unit from the top) is composed of two hinged doors which drop down to reveal even more open storage.
The second unit features all of the same attributes as the first, sans the illumination function, and in replacement of the sliding doors, there is a secretary component with a locking drop down surface concealing open storage and a small cubby for letters / small items. Includes the original key for the secretary.
Compact pieces that remain highly functional without compromising style.
The walnut has been gently refinished; only minor scuffs remain. The unit with the sliding doors shows a prominent fissure through the back plywood, which is visible through the walnut veneer in the front, but easily concealed by items when stored on the top shelf (see images).
Measures: H: 65″ x L: 39.25″ x D: 23.5″ / 25″ (with the cushion in place on top of the bottom component) / 34.75″ (with the secretary surface dropped down).

Luxurious pair newly reupholstered in a cream Kravet bouclé (36120-1). The last image is the swatch from Kravet’s site – the upholstery appears pure white or off-white, depending on the light.
The foam has additionally been replaced, and the walnut feet have been newly refinished and show only minor wear.

Pair of Italian Modernist Wingback Lounge Chairs by Ico Parisi
Pair of high-back lounge chairs supported by carved walnut conical feet by Ico Parisi (1950s, Italy). Slender, tall, wing-back form with sweeping, dramatic lines producing a sharply modernist aesthetic.
Raspberry microsuede upholstery was likely an 1980s/1990s addition. Upholstery is sound and usable as is, but could also benefit from an update. Walnut feet show natural patina / light wear consistent with age and use.

Pair of Jens Risom Low Lounge Chairs Model U-431 in Walnut and Velvet
Early pair of Jens Risom for Jens Risom Design Inc. low lounge chairs model #U-431 (this chair first appeared in the 1955 Jens Risom Design Inc. catalog and was already out of production by 1959). Composed of armless, walnut frames boasting sharp lines and rich grain. Maintaining the original design of the cushions, the headrest and seat have been newly upholstered in ochre velvet (as with the original cushions, the headrest wraps around the two back walnut bars, and the seat cushion attaches to the frame via ‘strings’ of fabric that tie in two places underneath). The foam has additionally been replaced. These vintage examples are scarcely seen.
Retain ‘Jens Risom Design Inc’ labels.

Pair of Jens Risom Model 2137 Walnut “Floating” Lounge Chairs in Olive Velvet
$14,000.00These exceptional Jens Risom Model 2137 lounge chairs supported by sculptural walnut bases are scarce examples of the 1961 design.
They are relatively small in scale, though the seat was designed to be wide and spacious for added comfort. Features clean, elegant lines from all angles. Newly reupholstered in an olive velvet upholstery with a button-tufted back and seat.
Fabric sample available upon request.
Both chairs retain the Risom Inc fabric tags.

Pair of circa 1950s American 2-drawer nightstands in walnut. Minimal, clean-lined design nicely contrasted by the rich color and grain of the walnut. Very good, refinished condition; only minor wear remains.
