T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Walnut Lounge Chair and Slipper Chair Set
Set of two chairs by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb: The”French Lounge” chair (Model 2024) and corresponding slipper chair (previously used as ‘his’ and ‘hers’ and presented as a set).
Lounge Chair features a a deeply carved, sculptural arm and splayed leg with walnut-lined back rest.
Slipper chair mirrors all design attributes and proportions sans the arms.
Newly recovered in an off-white tweed wool with a subtle pale gray metallic tinge. Welting is incorporated along the border to add a decorative and contrasting element to the walnut frame.
Walnut has been newly refinished; only a few scuffs remain, as shown.

Tall Gordon and Jane Martz Ceramic Table Lamp with Shade and Finial
This ceramic table lamp was designed by Gordon and Jane Martz for Marshall Studios in the 1960s. The matte brown finish (which actually appears army green depending on the light / angle) features a heavily mottled surface and overlapping circular sgraffito decoration, revealing the pale orange base coat. Wiring is new, and a pull on / off chain has been added. Signed ‘Martz’ to the ceramic base and retains the Marshall Studios UL Listing tag to the socket.
Includes the shade and original walnut finial.
Excellent, vintage condition. Shade shows light wear / spots of edge loss to the top rim, as shown.
Available separately is the petite version.

Tall Mid-Century Modern Sculpted Walnut and Enamel Candleholder by Ernest Sohn
$250.00Large candlestick/votive holder by enamelist, Ernest Sohn, in solid, deeply sculpted walnut with enamel panel decoration (ca. 1960s, USA).
Enamel boasts beautiful blue and aqua tones contrasting nicely with the rich walnut tone and brass accent.
Given its tall size, works well as a single candlestick but pairs/groups well with Scandinavian holders in similar rich wood tones (teak, rosewood).
Excellent, vintage condition.

Vintage Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates Illuminated Globe on Walnut Stand
Model #1898-G16 globe circa 1960 USA designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. 16″ Replogle ‘Comprehensive Globe’ itself is composed of paper gores over plastic with a brass-plated meridian. The Pearsall designed base is sculpted solid walnut with two supports for the meridian. Base has been refinished; globe itself shows minor wear (light spots of soiling, few small spots of loss, light, general wear). Overall, the globe is in very nice, vintage condition and will be presented newly rewired and ready for use.

Vintage Florence Knoll White Lacquer and Walnut Credenza / Cabinet Model 541
Credenza / cabinet (Model #541, circa 1952) designed by Florence Knoll for Knoll Associates composed of a walnut frame and legs with original off-white lacquered walnut doors and chrome pulls. Legs feature a unique vertical ply line detail.
Four doors conceal two drawers and four shelves in total: the left side of the cabinet boasts two, shallow drawers beside an open storage cubby flanked by two, removable shelves. The right side also features two, removable shelves with height adjustment options.
Beautiful off-white lacquer is being presented in original condition, as it shows very minimal wear (subtle, light crazing from age). Walnut has been refinished.
Unfinished back.
Retains the early silk Knoll Associates 575 Madison Avenue NY label.

Vintage Italian Modern Sculptural Walnut, Brass and Glass Magazine Rack / Stand
$1,600.00Architectural two-tiered magazine/book/periodical stand/rack/table (ca. 1950s, Italy).
Composed of a deeply sculpted stained Italian Walnut frame supporting a tubular brass rail with exposed brass hardware for draping or supporting magazines/newspapers and four panes of tempered glass (the main, central glass wall flanking two shallow shelves and one larger, angled glass panel forming the front of the magazine holder compartment).
The top glass surface is 17″ L x 4″ D and the bottom is 17″ L x 6″ D, so the glass surfaces themselves are somewhat limited to supporting smaller items.
Handsome, sophisticated piece in very good, refinished condition, though light wear remains to the newly polished brass (patina/tarnish).
