Children’s seesaw (circa 1950, USA) in painted oak with lovely, natural patina. Although, impractical for intended use, given the wear and age, this remains a charming, decorative item. Additionally, can be used as a display for lightweight items, such as linens or clothes.

Folk Art Skee Ball Game With Original Three Balls

American folk art skee ball/roll-a-ball tabletop game in natural woodgrain (unpainted) including the original three balls (ca. 1930s/40s, USA). Original condition with warm patina/wear to board and balls and old nails of the age.
Can be used as a game, as intended, or as a decorative objet d’art that blends well with both primitive and modernist decorating styles, given its bright, attractive colors.
There is a minor separation to the right side, as shown. Does not impact structural soundness or usability.

Folk Art Swedish Dala Horse Lamp

Unique, hand-assembled Dala horse lamp (horse, designed by Nils Olsson, dates to circa 1960, Sweden; the lamp was likely assembled in the 1970s-1980s, USA). The blue-green Dala horse measuring L: 8″ x H: 8″ x D: 2″ was modified by mounting it to a painted red base and fitting it with a chrome stem and vintage shade. The result is a charming, functional Folk Art creation.
Two spots of loss to the horse’s ears along with creases / dents to the shade.

Folk Art Tree Branch Tabletop Easel

Tabletop easel composed of tree branches nailed together (ca. Mid-20th century, USA).
Wonderful American Folk Art craft in the Adirondack / Rustic style.
There is a slim branch on the back attached to a dense cylindrical log that supports the easel when in use in an upright position. It manually collapses when not in use.
Easel measures: 19.63″ x L: 9″ x D: 6.75″
The enamel painting (used for display purposes only and not included) measures H: 4.75″ x L: 7″ and is an ideal fit for this relatively small easel. There is a gap that accommodates a smaller painting/work of art accommodating a maximum height of 7″.

Folk Art Tree Root Snake Sculpture

Charming Primitive / Folk Art snake (circa 1940-1950 USA) carved from a tree root (very light-weight piece, given the nature of the root). Nice, vintage condition with lovely texture and detail.

Folk Tramp Art-Style Decorative Box

Incredible folk art box (circa 1930s) with routed cubes, painted in alternating silver and black. Hinged box-top opens easily and features a single, brass pull. Process and style are reminiscent of tramp art, but the geometric pattern additionally evokes a modernist element. A charming piece with patina, wear and loss commensurate with age (paint loss, missing cubes in places).

Forged Cast Iron 3-Panel Table Top Tea Light Screen

Unique painted cast iron 3-Panel Tabletop Tea Light holder composed of three separate panels that latch together to form a single screen. Three holes present (one on each of the panels) to hold the tea light / votive holders. There are three total votive holders, despite only 2 pictured.
Can be placed to display as a trifold screen with the ends displayed in a vertical orientation, or a one, linear screen.
Very unusual item with nice colors and good age.
Excellent condition for its age.

Barnaba Fornasetti, son of Piero Fornasetti, “Commedia dell’arte” table lamp from the La Follia series for Antonangeli (ca 1990s, Italy). Composed of a flat plastic sheet photostatic printed with an iconic design by Barnaba’s father, Piero Fornasetti, assembled by folding the sheet into a cylindrical form and inserting two tabs into their corresponding inserts. The socket fits directly into an opening in the plastic sheet and its fitting is screwed into place on the inside of the shade allowing the light to diffuse out of the open top (lamp is hollow with no base or top).
Ingenious, but resourceful design producing a warm glow enhanced by the vibrant colors of the print, while using very modest materials.
