1950s ‘Sight Light’ by M. G. Wheeler

This saucer lamp, known as a ‘Sight Light’ was designed and manufactured by M.G. Wheeler of Connecticut in the 1950s. The metal lamp and base are pewter grey offset by brass accents (namely a brass swing arm which allows for 360 degree adjustability). There is minimal paint loss and tarnish to the brass, but overall, the lamp is in good, vintage shape.

1950s Rosewood Bar and Mini-Fridge

This mini fridge and bar was custom-made by Penguin Refrigerated Furniture / Springer Industries in the 1950s. It is in working condition with a functioning freezer. The piece was custom-made in rosewood with brushed steel feet and nickel-plated hardware. The top opens up to reveal open storage for barware and glasses. The right side is shelved storage and the left is divided into a refrigerator section with a single rack below an ice box with the three original ice trays. The cabinet itself is reminiscent of (and likely inspired by) early Knoll case pieces.
