Vintage Figural Studio Stoneware Vase / Candleholder
$800.00Impressive, dense figural ceramic vase / candleholder. Marvelous textural elements: an unglazed slab with a hole for a candle or flowers was applied to a thick, round base with a spiral pattern to both sides and a man’s face to the front. The face is composed of intricate details like strands of hair and delicate features.
Tremendous work of 1970s studio ceramics executed by a master ceramicist. Unsigned, but attributed to the ceramicist, “Polk,” based on provenance (other examples of the artist from the same grouping are listed separately).

Vintage French Blown Glass Wide Neck Demijohn Carboy in Teal Green
$1,400.00French Demijohn / Carboy originally used for transporting wine (early 20th Century, France).
Composed of attractive teal green (more green than blue) free-blown glass exhibiting trapped air bubbles within the glass itself with a squat neck with sheared lip (very unique shape, particularly given the thick, wide neck).
Very good, vintage condition with minimal exterior scuffing along with light interior soiling/spotting from use.
Both the interior and exterior of the piece have been thoroughly cleaned.

Amber glass with orb stopper and enamel label. “36” is marker applied to the bottle itself and stopper, as shown (likely a pharmacist’s internal reference number).
Good, vintage condition with light wear to the label and minor soiling to the bottle’s interior. There are also small bubbles/minor imperfections within the glass itself.

Vintage German Amber Glass “Ol. Vaselini” Apothecary Bottle

Amber glass with button stopper and enamel label. “86” is etched into the bottle itself and stopper, as shown (likely a pharmacist’s internal reference number).
Light soiling / scuffing present to the bottle’s interior along with small bubbles / minor imperfections within the glass itself. Additionally, a hand-written sticker reading ‘album’ was added at some point to the label. Remains an attractive decorative item in good, vintage condition.

Vintage German Bisque Porcelain ‘Structura’ Vase by Martin Freyer for Rosenthal

Features a porcelain-white matte exterior with relief effect and a glazed interior.
Pattern also resembles a textile or a fossilized rock, though its intended representation was that of crumpled paper.
Excellent, vintage condition with no wear to note.

Hans Martin Freyer designed the Volkswagen logo in 1937 and went on to work as a stage, art, graphic, and industrial designer. He worked as a freelance designer for Porzellanmanufaktur Rosenthal from 1964-1974.
Vintage German Ceramic Diabolo Vase and Dish Set in Teal and White by Steuler
$300.00Steuler ceramics diabolo/hour glass form vase and tear drop shape dish (ca. 1970s, Germany).
Feature a geometric pattern of rectangles in matte teal and white (the areas in which teal is the base color gives the white glaze an almost blue-like appearance).
Pattern and diabolo shape are reminiscent of similar pieces by Roger Capron.
Sold as a set of two pieces.
