Set of eight dining chairs (two captains model #56 and six side model #75) in teak designed in the 1950s by Niels Ole Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik of Denmark.
Early 1960s examples with sculptural teak frames boasting vivid grain and rich color with newly upholstered black leather seats.
The rounded backrests, curvature of the arms, and crisp lines of the legs aesthetically enhance an otherwise minimal, modest form.
Very good, vintage condition – frames have been conservatively refinished and foam and black leather have been replaced. Only light wear remains to teak, as shown (a couple of light scuffs and spots).
Danish Control tags and J.L. Møller tags present to the undersides.

Set of six American modern walnut armchairs manufactured by the W.H. Gunlocke Chair Company of Wayland, New York in the late 1960s. Composed of solid sculpted walnut frames with spindle construction to the underside serving as additional storage or as a book / magazine rack. The seats have been reupholstered in a luxe golden velvet fabric with all new foam. Can be used as conference, desk, accent, or dining chairs.

Newly upholstered in canary yellow leather with tufted and buttoned detail on both sides of all cushions. Iconic chairs noted for their comfort boasting clean lines, dramatic profile and low, but wide frames.

T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Walnut Lounge Chair and Slipper Chair Set

Set of two chairs by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb: The”French Lounge” chair (Model 2024) and corresponding slipper chair (previously used as ‘his’ and ‘hers’ and presented as a set).
Lounge Chair features a a deeply carved, sculptural arm and splayed leg with walnut-lined back rest.
Slipper chair mirrors all design attributes and proportions sans the arms.
Newly recovered in an off-white tweed wool with a subtle pale gray metallic tinge. Welting is incorporated along the border to add a decorative and contrasting element to the walnut frame.
Walnut has been newly refinished; only a few scuffs remain, as shown.

Vintage Italian Modernist Lounge Chairs in Brass and Tawny Bouclé

Mid-20th Century Italian Modernist lounge/arm chairs (ca. 1960s, Italy).
Low slung form with wide, sculptural arms, all supported by four splayed, two-tone brass legs.
Newly reupholstered in a tawny/gold-brown bouclé (Kravet 36114-166). The upholstery in the pictures appears lighter than it actually presents; the last image is a swatch of the bouclé from Kravet’s site.
Unpolished brass shows natural patina/wear.

Vintage Italian Modernist Low Walnut Lounge Chair Attributed to Paolo Buffa

Low sculptural lounge/arm chair attributed to Paolo Buffa (Italy, ca. 1940s)
Spindle-back-form with elegantly curved arms above x-form slats, all supported by moderately angled feet.
Retains the original pink cotton upholstery and all original metal-spring construction.
Light wear to the feather filled cushions (spotting/sagging). Reupholstery and or foam replacement is recommended and will also increase the seat height — redone, the seat cushions are often very thick (6-8 inches) to compensate for a low frame.
Newly, conservatively refinished; wear remains as shown (scuffs/spots/general, patina).
Sourced in Rome, Italy as Paolo Buffa; unmarked (hence the formal attribution).
