1960s Transparent Astro Globe

Rare astro globe inspired by a Torica design and manufactured in Japan for the Lafayette Radio Corp. of New York in the late 1960s. This is the largest example made measuring 24″ height x 16″ diameter. The globe displays the conditions of motion of fixed stars, planets, and the sun and the moon (relative to the earth).
