Lovely pair of Danish Modern 1960s candlesticks with nice sculptural form. Black paint is original, and there is minor wear commensurate with use (minor indentations. as pictured). Overall, in very nice, vintage condition.

Decorative wall-mounted ceramic plaque / wall sconce / candleholder in slate gray with hand-painted gold and green details. Only a couple tiny spots of paint loss, as shown. Otherwise, in nice, vintage condition.
Incised model number and ‘Denmark’ to the reverse.

Danish Modern Convertible Daybed/Sofa on Chrome and Walnut Base

This Danish walnut convertible sofa is comprised of two seats (joined to their respective headrests by tubular chromed steel supports) which can be turned inward to convert from sofa into daybed. When the seats are turned on the frame’s track, the head rests effortlessly fall flat. The seats move with ease; this transformation can be achieved by one person’s effort. The piece was just reupholstered in a blue-gray silk chenille which is corduroy-like in appearance. This remarkable, utilitarian piece defines beauty in both form and function and is ingeniously designed, yet stylish and comfortable. Dimensions: Assembled flat as a daybed: H 16.25″ x L 78″ x D 31″. Assembled as a two-seat settee: H 30″ x L 64″ x D 28″ x Seat Height: 16.25″.

Danish Modern Diminutive Teak Chest on Casters by Arne Vodder

This small, compact teak chest is versatile, and can be used as an entryway piece, bedroom side table, small media cabinet (for accessories), or office piece. There are four drawers in total with nice dove tail accents (two shallow, divided drawers on top and two more spacious bottom drawers). Additionally, the casters allow for easy mobility. The hardware is solid brass.

Danish Modern Lounge Chair in Velvet and Teak by Kofod Larsen

This Danish teak lounge chair, designed by Kofod Larsen for Selig, is supported by a slat-back and rubber seat straps, which have been newly replaced. The black velvet upholstery is new, as is the foam. The arm height is 21.5″.

Danish Modern Loveseat in Coral Leather

Nicely worn leather loveseat in dark coral (Denmark, circa 1970s) composed of two stained mahogany ‘block’ feet in the front and two caster wheels in the back (‘wheelbarrow’ design allows for easy mobility). Leather is nicely distressed with spots of wear throughout and heavy patina to the arms. Foam and springs are completely sound and, combined with the perfectly aged leather, provide tremendous comfort and support. Height to top of frame: 26″ Height to top of back cushion: 28.5″.

Newly restored condition, though light wear remains (a couple of scuffs, as shown).

Danish Modern Low Teak and Glass Credenza

Danish Modern Credenza composed of a teak frame with glass, sliding doors. Glass panels have inset pulls and slide open to reveal two, adjustable shelves (one / side). Frame is mounted to two sculpted, teak bases. Uniquely narrow and low, yet offers plentiful storage. Ideal for any room with space restrictions. Additionally, the back is partially finished, and the piece can serve as a room divider.
Excellent, refinished condition with one light ring to bottom left interior as pictured.

1960s Danish enameled cast iron lidded casserole designed by Michael Lax for Copco. Mustard yellow enamel is in excellent shape; there are some scratches to the interior and two minor spots of edge loss, as pictured. Measures 4.75″ H x 12.25″ L x 9.75″ D. Branded on the bottom, as shown.

Danish Modern Reclining Lounge Chair in Ochre Mohair

1960s Danish lounge chair with wide, sculptural arms and ochre mohair cushions. Features slight reclining function (the seat only leans back an additional 2″ when adjusted). Solid, spring construction with a foldable back frame for easy moving / storing. Newly upholstered in mohair with new foam. Unrecognized signature to underside (likely by owner, not designer).
