Vintage Modular Componibili Unit by Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell
1970s Italian modular Componibili storage unit designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell. Composed of two, stackable units with sliding doors and a single, removable lid / surface. Large size (24″ H x 16.5″ Diameter) no longer produced by Kartell. Ideal for use as a bathroom caddy, end / occasion table, or storage compartment for small accessories. Compatible with all 16.5″ diameter Componibili pieces to create a larger unit, if desired.

Vintage Morgantown Black and White Space Age Sherbet / Dessert Cups
Set of three 1960s Morgantown footed-sherbets / dessert cups in a space-age style. (Aesthetically, they somewhat resemble the Eero Aarnio ball chair with the angled semi-circular cup and base.) Cup itself is a thin black glass, and base is white milk glass. What appears to be discoloration to the bases, is actually residue from the factory tag along with adhesive residue from production. Otherwise, the trio is in excellent, vintage shape.
Retains the ‘Handcrafted by Morgantown’ tag.

Vintage Moroccan Hand Knotted Round Rug

Roughly 72″ in diameter (measurements vary slightly given the hand-constructed nature of the rug).
Retains the “S.A.F.T.” cloth label along with the label from the German company, Bayer Leverkusen, whose product was used to treat the wool. As the label indicates, the material is now mothproof and antimicrobial.
Vintage Multi-Color Birch Desk by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller
Modernist single-drawer desk designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller (introduced in 1950, this model is an authentic Herman Miller produced version from the 1990s). Composed of a birch veneer surface and drawer front with Mondrian inspired hardwood panels in an attractive array of colors: black, yellow, red, white and blue. Steel stretchers above the drawer act as additional enclosed shelving. Sturdy and practical, without sacrificing style. Very good, refinished condition; only minor wear remains, as shown (patina to the steel and slight edge wear to the blue panel). Additionally, there is no back bottom stretcher (early models didn’t always include this piece, this one was removed likely for “partner” use).
Retains the “Eames for Herman Miller” medallion.

Vintage New England Solid Walnut Chest of Drawers
Solid walnut six-drawer chest with linear sculptural pulls designed and manufactured on custom order by Vermont Furniture Designs, circa early 1980s. The chest is mounted to two solid walnut block bases, and there are two solid walnut ‘bars’ (one in the front and one in the back) that directly support the frame and intersect with the legs for added support and decoration. The slab-leg construction gives the chest a ‘floating’ appearance, as there is sufficient open space between the two bases. The construction, quality of materials, and master craftsmanship of this piece are akin to master woodworkers from the New Hope School (including Wharton Esherick and George Nakashima). An heirloom-quality piece designed and constructed to last. Listed separately is the corresponding pair of nightstands.
