Vintage Folk Art L.L. Bean Wooden Chess Pieces – Complete Set 32 Pieces
$200.00
Limited edition chess set retailed at L.L. Bean for a short duration during the late 1980s/early 1990s.
Folk Art-style painted wooden pieces are crude. For example, the knight has a blockish face and the king’s crown is boxy and unrefined.
All 32 pieces are present and in good, vintage condition retaining their felted bottoms with only light paint loss present, specifically to one of the knights.
Does not include a board, but the square requirements for each pieces are 2″ given the relatively large size of the pieces.
