Pair of cast iron owl-form andirons on arched branch uprights fitted to billet bars (ca. 1930s, USA).
The blown glass yellow/amber eyes, which emit a warm glow when placed in front of a fire, add a nice contrast to the black cast iron forms.
Billet bars show rust/wear from age/use. The owls themselves are in excellent, restored condition sans some light scuffs/spots to thee glass eyes.
