Victorian Style Torched Bamboo and Grasscloth Four-Tier Etagere / Bookshelf

Antique Aesthestic Movement/Victorian-Style bookshelf/etagere/curio shelf (ca. 19th Century, England).
Composed of a burnt/scorched bamboo/faux-tortoise shell finish frame supporting four wooden shelves with grasscloth surfaces. Diagonal/reverse ‘v’ supports present to both profiles and the reverse for additional reinforcement.
Carved beehive-form bamboo finials present to all posts.
Narrow, petite shelving unit providing substantial storage while occupying a small footprint. Ideal for foyer/entryway/washroom/boudoir use.
Good, original condition with natural patina/light wear throughout. One of the finials appears to have a chunk missing to the side, but in fact the bamboo on that side was flat and could not be uniformly carved.
Structurally sound – piece has been restored to reinforce stability.
Relatively small size –
H: 39″ x L: 17″ x D: 13″
