Pair of brass candleholders designed by Ivar Ålenius Björk for Ystad Metall in the 1950s. A more detailed / scarce variation of Björk’s more ubiquitous ‘lily’ or ‘liljan’ design. Very nice, polished condition. Though, the pair has not been lacquered and retains a rich patina.

Set of Four Diminutive Copper Ystad Candleholders

Unique, given their diminutive size (the photograph with the full size brass Ystad candleholder offers perspective of how small these are). Natural, warm patina to the copper. Discoloration occurred during the soldering process; these are otherwise in good, vintage condition with only minor, age-appropriate wear.

Set of Ten Swedish ‘Liljan’ Brass Candleholders by Ystad
$2,800.00Five pairs of “Liljan” brass candleholders by Ivar Ålenius Björk. Though identical in size, each pair differs slightly in patina and branding (likely based on production period variance). Each pair bears a different manufacturer mark, revealing a disparity in age (ranging from the 1950s-late 1960s). Marks include, ‘IAB Ystad Metall,’ ‘Sweden-Lily,’ ‘Made in Sweden,’ ‘Made in Sweden for Scan Corporation.’
All have an attractive patina, though one pair’s luster is more significant due to polishing within the last few years.

Swedish Modern Metal and Brass Candelabra by Gunnar Ander
Four-holder candelabra designed by Gunnar Ander and manufactured by Ystad Metall for SAL Trans (Swedish American Line).
Very nice, original condition with only minor wear to the brass, as pictured (few impressions to one of the holders, as well as light patina to the brass).
Brass is branded ‘SAL-Trans’ and lacquered metal is stamped ‘Product of Sweden.’
