Composed of a diminutive chromed plastic semi-circular base. Half-mirrored globe bulb complements the reflective quality of the base.

Petite Italian Modern Stained Mahogany Writing Desk by Gio Ponti for Schirolli

Diminutive Italian student desk in stained mahogany designed by Gio Ponti for Schirolli, ca. 1950s, Italy.
Sculptural form with angular leg details, presenting a sharp profile.
There are three drawers and an additional open storage section created by the space between the top drawer and surface apron.
Surface is a gray laminate, which can appear light blue depending on the light.
Moderate wear present (scuffs to the laminate along with some scratches and old fills/repairs to the front and back concealing minor veneer losses and screw/drill holes). Drawers slide smoothly, and desk presents well.
Lock is branded “Schirolli Mantova” (no key is included).

Diminutive sun/starburst wall mirror composed of giltwood, carved to resemble foliage, with inset mirror glass (ca. 1940s, Italy).
Original condition with flaws to the glass (cracks to a couple of the smaller inset pieces), as shown, along with natural patina/wear to the original gilt. All good signs of age; mirror still shows a clear reflection, as central glass is in very good vintage condition.

Petite trinket/soap/decorative ceramic canoe-form dish by Andersen Design, Brenda and Weston Andersen’s ceramics studio originating in Akron, Ohio in 1952 and relocating to Boothbay Harbor, Maine in 1958.
This 1960s example is composed of a teardrop/canoe/double pointed oval-form porcelain dish with attractive abstract design in vibrant blue and green.
Excellent, vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing present (the two small white spots are not losses, they were kiln fired over and are smooth to the touch).

Petite Round Lotte & Gunnar Bostlund Table Lamp

This small scale orb-shaped table lamp was designed and manufactured in the 1960s by Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund after they relocated their ceramic studio from Denmark to Canada. Includes Lotte jute shade, as shown.
The applied, unpolished brass neck with warm patina adds a rich contrast to the off-white matte glaze. There is a subtle linear pattern throughout. Listed separately is a tall, slim example, as pictured.
Nice, vintage condition. There is one sliver in the shade where a small strand of jute is missing, though it is barely noticeable. Otherwise, the lamp and shade are in very nice, vintage condition.

Petite Swedish Table Lamp / Sconce by Ernst Igl for Falkenberg in Brass

Scarcely seen 1950s Swedish version of the “Anywhere” lamp by Ernst Igl for Falkenberg Belysning (common examples were produced by Hillebrand of Germany). This versatile lamp is composed of a brass conical base supported by painted metal splayed legs, all concealed by a brass and metal perforated adjustable shade. There is a hole through the brass cone, allowing this to function as a wall-mounted sconce.
Small size: H: 6″ x L: 4.75″ x D: 4.25″
Retains the paper label “S” indicating a Swedish production and branded model number “FLL 6166.”.
Very good, vintage condition with light scuffs, as shown.
