1940s Arts and Crafts Enamel on Copper Dish by Serge Nekrasoff
$150.00Russian-born artist, Serge Nekrassoff (1895-1995), relocated to Darien, CT in the 1930s where he primarily made enamel works using pewter. This decorative bowl (circa late 1940s) features Nekrassoff’s signature solid color (green, in this example) with a white center and splatter pattern throughout. The decorative, beaded copper rim adds a nice contrast to the relatively simple design of the enamel pattern itself.
