1960s Jens Quistgaard Dansk Teak Serving Tray with Glass Inserts New in Box
Danish 1960s Jens Quistgaard teak lattice serving tray with green, tempered glass inserts. Each glass dish has feet, which fit perfectly into the grid.
The set is in excellent, vintage condition with only minor wear to the tray. Glass inserts are new in the boxes and have never been used. There is one small bubble to the edge of one of the inserts (factory, not a flaw).
Early example stamped JHQ Danmark on the tray.

Inserts alone each measure: H 1.25″ x L 4.25″ D 4.25″.

Large Danish Oval Teak Tray by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk
Early and large teak tray designed by Jens Quistgaard in the 1950s for Dansk Designs Denmark. Practical and visually pleasing piece measuring
H 2.75″ x W 25.75″ x D 19″. Stylistic elements include two deeply sculpted handles that extend out to form an attractive border.
Branding to the underside has faded over time but features a “four ducks” logo remnant along with a semi-legible “Dansk Designs Denmark IHQ” engraved signature.
Excellent, vintage condition with only a light surface scuff and a few scratches to the underside.
Large Mid-Century Black Resin Fisherman’s Wharf “Fish” Tray by Couroc
Decorative tray by Couroc of Monterey, California with an inlaid decoration of fish-themed buildings along Fisherman’s Wharf (shacks, bait and tackle, etc.).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with inlaid wood and brass accents.
Excellent, vintage condition with a couple of insignificant scuffs, as shown.

Square tray by Couroc of Monterey, California custom-designed for Garfinckel’s Department Store in Washington DC (circa 1960s).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent-resistant plastic) with inlaid pigment and brass accents depicting two row-houses on a tree lined DC street.
Retains the Couroc designed for Garfinckel’s foil label.
Excellent, vintage condition with only light traces of use.
