Pair of Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin Walnut Armchairs
These walnut armchairs were designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin in the 1950s. The olive vinyl upholstery is new, keeping with the lines of the original seat design (the original material was black vinyl, so we stayed true to the original fabric choice, as well). The seat back was reimagined (the tufting wasn’t an original attribute of this particular model). One chair retains the original Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin fabric tag to the underside.

Pair of Staved Walnut Lounge Chairs by Milo Baughman
These Milo Baughman armchairs feature dramatic, clean lines. The exaggerated, slanted legs are nicely contrasted by a curved back with simple slat supports. Thayer Coggin fabric tag is intact on one chair. The fabric is a tweed and the low back cushions were customized to accentuate, not hide, the beautifully rounded backs of the frames. We have a total of four of these chairs available (two in this fabric, two in a black cotton tweed).
