Pair of Warren Platner for Knoll Bronze and Mohair Lounge Chairs with Side Table

Suite of early (circa 1966) Warren Platner for Knoll Associates bronze-framed pieces: two wire lounge chairs redone in blood orange mohair and one wire-framed, walnut-top occasional table. Steel-rod construction with bronze-plate (a finish no longer available from Knoll – the ‘metallic bronze’ presently offered is a metallic paint). Each piece retains the clear plastic extrusion ring on the bases, which provides an even surface.
Excellent, vintage condition. The walnut top has been refinished and the mohair upholstery / foam is new.
Purchased together by the original (and only) owner in the 1960s and sold as a set of three pieces.
Early 320 Park Avenue Knoll Associates, Inc labels present to all three pieces.
