Jens Risom Walnut Credenza / Cabinet on Ebonized Plinth Base with Key

American Modern credenza / cabinet by Jens Risom in walnut with an ebonized plinth base and sculpted, metal pulls, circa 1950s. Features a total of twelve drawers of various heights and one hinged-door cabinet with an adjustable shelf.
This useful storage solution, suitable for home or office, balances form and function by offering abundant drawer and cabinet space without compromising aesthetic. The ebonized base and pulls offer a sleek complement to the dark grain of the walnut, and the bookmatching along with sculptural elements add a refined elegance to a sturdy, practical piece.
Very nice, refinished condition but wear remains (most notably, few surface spots of wear to the right side and a slight tonal variation between some of the drawers, due to the nature of the veneer).
