Richard Rothbard jewelry box in the rare wood, cocobolo, which is highly coveted and expensive in today’s market. Early example when artist’s studio was in Sugar Loaf, NY (later works were made in New Jersey). Drawer opens to reveal a shallow storage compartment.

Jewelry box by artist, Richard Rothbard, circa 1970s. Early example when artist’s studio was in Sugar Loaf, NY (later works were made in New Jersey). Solid Padauk (an African rosewood) with one, removable drawer equipped with a shallow compartment for jewelry or other small items.
