This Milo Baughman dining table was designed for Directional in the early 1960s and is composed of walnut, rosewood and English brown oak banding (original black lacquer on legs and apron is intact and is a matte finish, not polished or glossy). The table includes the two bookmatched leaves that blend seamlessly with the table when in place.

Mid Century Floating Top Walnut Desk by Milo Baughman for Glenn of California

Thoughtfully designed to optimize space and storage — the desk is double sided having three dovetailed drawers with deeply carved, recessed pulls on one side and an open bookshelf back for additional storage. Further, the floating surface is not only visually appealing, but also allows the secondary surface to be used for storage.
Newly refinished condition; only light wear remains, as shown, along with a few small veneer repairs to the left drawer fronts.

Mid-Century Italian Modern Tufted Mohair and Chrome Lounge Chairs
$6,400.00Luxurious pair of Mid-Century Modern arm chairs with polished chrome frames and tufted back and seat (reminiscent of the flat bar lounge chairs by Milo Baughman but an Italian design, as indicated by the label).
Elegant profile with sharp, slanted lines and a low-slung seat.
Recovered in a blood-orange or coral mohair with new foam (the last eight images most accurately relay the color, which is slightly more orange than pink).
Chrome, which has been cleaned and polished, shows wear (scuffs, as shown, particularly to the arm rests). Only really visible from certain angles – pair remains in good, vintage shape with wear consistent with age and use.
One chair retains the “Made in Italy” label; the other shows evidence of its prior presence.

Parsons style mixed wood coffee table / bench attributed to Milo Baughman for Directional (ca. 1960s, USA). The dining version of this table is found in the Directional catalog as part of the “Gallery One” line.
Composed of walnut, rosewood and teak veneer banding with rosewood trim and block legs.
Conservatively refinished condition with light wear remaining: crackling to the banding on one profile side and a scuff to the other along with light surface wear. Overall, very good, vintage condition.

Mid-Century Modern Dowel Bench by Milo Baughman for Glenn of California
Short bench/coffee table designed by Milo Baughman for Glenn of California (ca. 1950s, USA). Composed of a gently tapered walnut frame and turned legs supported by two sets of spacers. Birch dowels create the slatted surface, adding a nice light wood contrast to the walnut.
Small, practical piece designed for bench or coffee table use.
Conservatively refinished – light wear remains (scuffs/general wear, as shown).

Mid-Century Parsons Bench by Milo Baughman
1960s Parsons Bench by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin composed of a fully-upholstered frame with corresponding, fixed-cushion. Fabric appears to have been updated at least three times over the years and is in good, vintage condition.
Frame is sound and, overall, the bench is in very nice, vintage condition.

Midcentury Walnut Plinth Based Side Table Attributed to Milo Baughman
Low, cube end / side table (circa 1960s, USA) in walnut with an ebonized plinth-base. Finished on all sides, each with different walnut grain. Refinished condition; only minor wear remains (one small repair to replace a spot of veneer loss). Attributed to Milo Baughman, unsigned.

Milo Baughman Attributed Mixed Wood Expandable Dining Table for Directional
This Milo Baughman attributed dining table for Directional (early 1960s) composed of teak, walnut, and rosewood banding (scarcely seen wood combination for these tables). Additionally, the legs are rosewood — another rare attribute.
The table includes a single bookmatched leaf that blends seamlessly with the table when in place. This example, as evidenced by the space allotted for the leaf, was designed to accommodate only one leaf, not two, equipped with posts that ‘snap’ into place on the rail.
Very nice, refinished condition; only minor wear remains (namely, a scratch to one of the edges, as shown).
The leaf measures: 23.5″ long
Without the leaf, the table measures: 65″ long
With the leaf, the table measures: 88.5″ long
The apron is 2.5″ high
