Pair of American Modern Lounge Chairs and Ottoman in Velvet and Chenille
This luxurious pair of low 1950s lounge chairs retains the original mustard velvet shell. The cushions have been redone in a steel grey chenille, and the foam has been replaced. The feet retain their original ebony stain. The matching oversized ottoman is on caster wheels. Ottoman dimensions: 26″ W x 26″ D x 17″ H.
Condition: Good. The original, ebony stain on the legs shows minor loss. There is minor wear to the velvet shells.

These exceptional Jens Risom lounge chairs are rare, early examples and are supported by walnut bases. They are relatively small in scale and boast clean, elegant lines from all angles. The fabric is comprised of grey, beige and dark chocolate (dark enough to be confused as black in both photos and in person). The fabric is in good, vintage condition, with only minor signs of wear.
