Danish Crocheted Lamp on Teak Base in Brown
This 1960s Danish floor lamp is composed of an exterior brown and white linen shade with a crocheted pattern. (There is a parchment inner shade that is connected to the steel form body that the linen shade conceals.) The tripod base is teak, and the on/off pull string runs through the underside accented by a solid brass ball. Measures: Width of the base: 16.5″. Depth of the base: 13.5″. Diameter of shade at the widest 17″.

These sofa sleepers (model #700) were designed by Richard Stein for Knoll in 1947. The foot pedal under the seat lowers the upholstered seat back. It can recline to a 45 degree angle, or drop down entirely, so the back frame is even with the ground. Light beige linen upholstery and foam are new and the stained maple frames have been refinished. Depth when the back is fully lowered (to the ground): 49″ Depth when the back is lowered to a 45 degree angle: 40″ Seat cushion measures: L 76″ x D 27″.
