This model first appeared in the 1973 Blenko catalog and remained in production for only two years. Scarcely seen example including the original bubble stopper in uncommon tangerine.
Excellent, vintage condition with a slightly rough edge to the underside of the stopper (likely factory).

Stelvia Amber Blown-Glass ‘Antiqua’ Lidded Jar by Wayne Husted

This Italian amber lidded glass jar was designed by Wayne Husted (famous for his work with Blenko in the 1950s and 1960s) for Stelvia and imported by Peedee. The pattern, inspired by medieval imagery, is known as, ‘Antiqua’ and features bold textures of contrasting round shapes and straight symmetrical lines.
We have other Stelvia pieces listed, some of which are in the corresponding amber palette.

Italian Mid-Century Modernist Raymor ceramic lidded jar/urn (ca. 1950s, Italy). Attributed to Aldo Londi/Bitossi, though unconfirmed.
Pinprick incisions throughout amid banded motifs in pink, black, and gilt glaze.
Statuesque, impressive piece with attractive colors incorporated.
Very good, vintage condition with minor loss to the rim’s gilt banding, as shown.
