Whimsical yet elegant circa 1940s animal knife rests (likely French, given their provenance) including two dogs, two rams, two rabbits, and one cat (seven in total). Composed of gilt-metal with lovely patina / wear consistent with age and use, as shown. Overall, the set is in good, vintage condition.
Height ranges from 1″ – 1.5″ (rabbit ears)
Length is roughly 4″ for all.

Elegant, sculptural set of six turned rosewood knife/spoon rests designed by Michael Bloch for Ramle Art (ca. Mid-20th Century, Denmark/Danmark).
Each rest is carved with two beveled edges to allow one side to lie flat against a tabletop.
Retains the original packaging.
Very good condition with shelf wear to the box and one scuff to an underside of one of the knife rests, resulting in a spot of finish loss (this is the side that rests downward on a surface).
Elegant set boasting vivid rosewood grain and rich tone.

Set of Twelve Art Deco Jax / X-form mitred silver-plated knife rests (ca. 1940s, Italy).
In the style of Christofle, but unsigned. There is an illegible hallmark to a few of the rests, but the branding is too small to decipher.
Unpolished condition, light wear/tarnish remains, as shown.
Two of the rods are slightly askew and don’t sit completely flat, as shown.
