1970s Hollywood Regency Wall Mirror

This large 1970s gilded mirror is the manner of Labarge. It’s gilded composite, as opposed to wood, and there is a ‘splatter’ black paint design against the gilt, which adds a nice texture and pattern.
The piece is in excellent, vintage condition with no loss to either frame or mirror; only age-appropriate, minor wear.

Bjørn Wiinblad for Rosenthal porcelain wall plate circa 1970s Denmark. Figures’ outlines are lightly sketched but stand-out because they are framed with the contrasting orange, red, and green bird decoration. Gilded leaf and signature detail add another layer of color and texture to this minimal, yet ornate piece. Plate is equipped with two holes in the back to thread wire for wall-mounting. Branded: ‘Rosenthal Studio-linie Germany’ to the back.

Hollywood Regency Gilt Metal Rope-Tied Mirrored Vanity with Chair on Casters

Glamorous Italian-style gilt metal vanity with mirrored surface and attachable mirror manufactured by Townhome Originals (ca. 1970s, California, USA).
Vanity has been paired with a matching, diminutive, gilt-metal vanity chair on casters (manufacturer unknown).
Elegant rope-tied details on mirror and vanity almost giving the frame a bamboo-like aesthetic.
Mirrored surface shows a smattering of scratches, and there are minor scuffs to the metal frame, as shown; otherwise, the piece is in very good, vintage condition retaining the original gilt.
The chair upholstery shows wear to both seat and back, but can be used as is with these imperfections. The casters are a recent addition, though of the same vintage.
The mirror can be removed from the vanity and hung on the wall if preferred.

Italian Gilded Metal Stool or Bench With Blue Velvet Cushion by S. Salvadori

This S. Salvadori 1950s Italian stool or small bench is composed of a gilt-metal frame and velvet cushion. Inspired by a lyre’s form with a frame resembling strings that branch out into curved arms. Retains a metal hang tag marked Italy. There is minor loss to the gilt, partially revealing the red paint within. Beautiful patina and sound structure. The cushion has been reupholstered in a blue velvet, and the foam has been replaced.

Italian Gilt Tole Floral Motif Mirror with Shelf

This decorative Italian mirror is adorned by gilt tole flowers and petals. There is rich patina to the gilt from age. There are two pieces of glass in total (the shelf has its own glass panel). There is wear to the glass, as pictured, from dispersed spots of moisture penetrating the glass over time creating a unique aesthetic in its own right.

Italian Palladio Parcel Paint and Gilt Demilune Console and Mirror

Neoclassical-style console and mirror set designed and manufactured by Palladio of Italy in the 1950s. Composed of a parcel paint and gilt demilune console and mirror, with ‘ring’ hand-carved decoration throughout. The wall-mounted console table is bracketed in the back (the two, tapered front legs were not designed to support it, wall-mounting is necessary). Nice age / patina with age-appropriate loss (paint loss). Structurally sound. Manufacturer’s stamp and label present to back.
