Gerald Thurston for Lightolier Brass and Metal Table Lamp with Crescent Base
Gerald Thurston for Lightolier table/desk lamp with oversized, fully adjustable/hinged shade, brass stem and crescent base (ca. 1950s, USA). A plexi diffuser has been added (not original to the piece and not required for use). Retains the original dual-porcelain socket and brass finial.
White enamel has been conservatively touched up. There are some scuffs to the paint and unevenness to the brass finish.
Newly rewired.

Very good, vintage condition with some light scuffing / tarnish to the brass base / elements and a split to the plastic shade’s interior component (not visible and does not affect usability).

Elegant table lamps designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier as part of the “Studio Porcelains” line first introduced in 1958 (USA).
Composed of fluted / ribbed matte white ceramic bases with brass accents. Features Thurston’s signature white porcelain triple socket, serving as an ample light source. Very good, vintage condition with original pull strings and finials, all in solid brass. There is patina / wear present to the metal stems and porcelain sockets (most notably and quite typical paint loss and general wear to the sockets which would be concealed by a shade), along with a few minor scuffs to the brass bases, as shown.
Does not include shades.

Each lamp features a triple socket, serving as an ample light source. Excellent, vintage condition with original pull strings and finials, all in solid brass. There is minor wear / loss to the white paint of the underside of the sockets along with a couple of small scuffs to the brass bases (brass has been polished; minor wear remains). Discoloration to parts of the ceramic are original (the taupe glaze runs into the cream in a few places).
Includes new acrylic diffusers.

$1,400.00Atomic-style table lamp designed by Gerald Thurston, circa 1950s. Sculptural tripod base in stained oak with brass stem and original milk glass diffuser. The vintage linen shade shown has been added and shares similar form and dimensions as the original.
Oak has been newly refinished, and the lamp itself is in excellent, vintage condition. Shade has an interior tear (not visible when in use) along with a few spots / general, light wear).
The wooden base alone measures: 17″ H x 6.5″ D x 7″ L
The shade alone measures: 16.25″ diameter x 7″ height
The height to the top of the brass socket is: 22″

Vintage Enameled Metal and Brass Table Lamp by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier
$1,400.00Gerald Thurston for Lightolier table/desk lamp with oversized, fully adjustable shade (ca. 1950s, USA). Black enameled metal and plexi hood with brass stem/accents and original, plastic diffuser.
Excellent, restored condition (enamel has been touched up, and wiring is new). Light scuffs to the plexiglass hood, discoloration to the diffuser, and light patina to the brass remain.
