Duo of Mid-Century Decorative Ice Buckets by Georges Briard

Set of two Georges Briard ice buckets (1950s, USA) composed of Pyrex glass insulated buckets with decorated metal and brass tops fitted into brass caddies (one has a two handles, the other a single, adjustable handle). Wear consistent with age and use — there is considerable brass plate loss, as shown, along with scuffs / paint loss to the black insulated ‘buckets.’ However, interiors are clean with no wear to note.
Slight length disparity (the two handled bucket is 8″ long, the single handled bucket is 7″).

1950s American enamelware skillet / frying pan designed by Georges Briard in his signature ‘Ambrosia’ pattern.
Excellent, vintage condition (looks unused) sans minor edge wear and one tiny spot of loss to rim along with some loss to the gold trim.

Georges Briard Coffee / Tea Serving Set

Tea / Coffee set by Georges Briard circa 1950s composed of hand-painted details on porcelain. Includes the tea / coffee pot, creamer and sugar. Age-appropriate crazing present, but no chips / cracks. Minor fading to the gold-painted decoration. Brass is in unpolished, original condition and shows tarnishing.

Pair of Large Gilt Milk Glass Serving Trays

Pair of vintage milk glass trays with etched gilt details and a floral motif throughout (circa 1950s, USA). Depending on positioning, the tray either looks like a reflective (mirrored) surface or a white surface with gold etching. Light wear consistent with age (edge wear, one corner spot of loss, fading in places). Overall, good, vintage condition. Reminiscent of works by Georges Briard, but unsigned.

Vintage Georges Briard “El Dorado” Enamel and Brass Tea/Coffee Service

Coffee service set including a sugar bowl, creamer, and tea/coffee pot by Georges Briard for his “El Dorado” line.
Composed of brass-plated silver vessels with teal enamel inserts. The creamer and pot both have carved walnut handles, and the pitcher retains the original glass cylindrical ‘carafe’ which screws to lid.
Polished condition, though there is some plate loss to the creamer, as shown, along with overall age-commensurate overall wear. The sugar lid has a spot of crazing to the enamel. Remains a luxurious, hard to find, and complete set from this coveted line by master enamelist, Georges Briard.
