George Nelson for Herman Miller Dining Chairs

Originally designed for dining use by George Nelson for Herman Miller, these handsome, versatile chairs have such clean and angular lines, they make great accent or desk chairs, particularly when placed where their sharp profile can be seen. The tubular zinc-plated steel frames have an inverted “U” shape to the backs. They have been reupholstered within the last decade. Unmarked.

Mid-Century Slatted Table after George Nelson

This George Nelson-inspired birch table was custom-made and significantly longer than the largest one George Nelson designed (hence the requirement for a custom creation). The difference in this example is that the two bases are steel, as opposed to lacquered wood.
