1970s Danish Ceramic Tile and Teak Nesting Tables by Ox Art for Trioh
Trio of Ox Art teak nesting tables composed of a ceramic tile arrangement with circular spiral and linear pattern motif. The tables are well constructed, utilizing wood joinery techniques and internal dowels that hold each table in place. Signed and dated ‘Ox Art ’78.’

Diminutive Danish Modern Single-Drawer Floating Nightstand / End Table in Oak
Single suspended/wall-mounted nightstand or bedside table in oak (ca. 1960s, Denmark).
Minimal, elegant form with a single, shallow drawer.
Very good, refinished condition; only faint wear remains, as shown, notably a scuff to one of the sides.
A second oak floating shelf is listed separately (though nonidentical — no drawer, just open cubby — it complements this piece well given the similar design, material, and size). A matched pair can be made with minor differences.

Pair of Arthur Court ‘Lily’ Side Tables
These Arthur Court ‘Lily’ Side Tables are composed of gilded and painted aluminum sculptural ‘lily’ bases with round, beveled glass tops. Glass is original and shows very minimal wear sans one 2" scratch to one of the tops (see image). Bases have been restored and show only minimal wear.

Pair of Danish Modern Bent Teakwood Stacking Stools / Accent Tables
Circa 1960s Danish stacking stools in stained bent teakwood with tripod form (similar to those designed by Alvar Aalto but Danish versions). Refinished condition; loss to veneer on interior of multiple legs and light scuffs present, as shown. Very good, stable condition.
Each leg is branded “Made in Denmark” to the underside.

Newly refinished, but a couple of surface scuffs remain. Chrome has been newly re-plated.

Pair of French Moderne Lacquered Mahogany and Brass Nightstands by Guy Lefèvre
$8,500.00Exquisite, low side tables/nightstands designed by Guy Lefèvre for Maison Jansen (ca. 1975, France). Composed of lacquered mahogany chests supported by brass cradles. Single drawers smoothly slide open via modernist, sculptural, brass pulls.
Scarcely seen, short, deep examples (H: 14.25″ x L: 14.88″ x D: 22.38″).
Patina/light wear to unpolished brass bases; cases have been professionally re-lacquered in a cordovan color — an identical match to the original lacquer. One continuous crazing line present (very hard to detect and only visible in direct sunlight, as shown). Additionally, there is light cloudiness to one side. Overall, very fine, vintage condition.

Pair of Heritage Henredon Single Drawer Walnut Side Tables
Pair of 1950s Heritage-Henredon walnut nightstands / side tables. Composed of two tiers for surface space along with a single drawer finished with a deeply sculpted, recessed pull.
Newly refinished condition; minor wear remains.
Interior drawer is stamped “Heritage.”

Pair of Italian Etched Copper and Brass Side Tables by G. Urso
Very unique tables, one in hand-etched copper, the other in brass, designed by G. Urso (Italy, 1950s). The triangular tops are mounted to hexagonal, walnut bases. The tops have been cleaned and polished, but slight wear remains (spots, indentations, and light scratches). Overall, in good, vintage condition. Signed G. Urso ‘Made in Italy.’

Pair of rosewood nightstands/bedside tables with single drawers and brass pulls along with deeply sculpted, splayed legs (ca. 1950s, Italy). Ample surface spaces with split level tempered glass and glass covered white laminate tops.
Very good, newly refinished condition with only an edge ding/light wear to the rosewood, and a spot of white laminate loss under the glass surface, as shown.

Mid-Century Modern drum pedestals / tables composed of exquisite bookmatched bird’s-eye maple veneer. Tables boast beautiful grain, vivid pattern, and impressive size. Can be used as large side tables or display stands. Alternatively, glass tops / top (if using both tables at once) can be added to create a larger table. In the style of Milo Baughman, but unsigned / attributed.

Pair of Mahogany and Brass Connoisseur Collection Nightstands by Paul McCobb
$4,200.00Elegant two-tier, single-drawer side tables/nightstands designed by Paul Mccobb for his the “Connoisseur Collection” manufactured by H Sacks and Sons (ca. 1953, Brookline, MA, USA).
Composed of a red mahogany frame with inset “hidden” drawer with brass pull tucked below the surface. Lower, glass tier is framed by brass stretchers which delicately brace the long, tapered legs.
Additionally, the sides are deeply sculpted/partially recessed resembling a half-bowtie, revealing the drawer within and adding a nice detail to an otherwise simple form.
Relatively large size offering ample storage options between the shallow drawer and lower surface.
Sleek, minimal pieces designed with unique and unexpected features indicative of an ingenious design highlighting the marriage of form and function.
Excellent, restored condition (wood has been refinished and brass has been polished). Only minimal wear remains.
Signed with applied brass manufacturer’s label to the drawer of each example: “Connoisseur Collection designed by Paul McCobb H Sacks & Sons Brookline Mass.”
