Enamel on Copper ‘Egret’ Decorative Plate

Striking Mid-Century Modern enamel decorative dish signed ‘Eli.’ This example, in vibrant blue, gold, brown, and green, depicts a gold perched egret. It is small in scale (6.75″ in diameter), but bold in design.
There is a heavy linear texture to the design, with curved lines weaved unevenly, throughout. There is also a significant amount of enamel loss, namely to the egret figure, as pictured, along with some crazing to the top. Despite its wear, this dish remains a beautiful piece of enamel that can be used for display purposes or as a soap / keys / jewelry dish.
Signed ‘Eli’ to the beautiful, light lime green enamel underside.
Does not include stand.

Diameter: 6.75″ x H: 1″
