1930s Art Deco ceramic lamp depicting a stag, doe, and mountain goat amid a weeping willow/foliage by the renowned ceramic studio, Atelier Primavera, an extension of Le Printemps Department Store in Paris.
Superior quality and craftsmanship in an attractive palette of blues against a bronze/brown background finished with a bronze cap and bakelite socket. Excellent, vintage condition.
Branded with the workshop stamp and incised with the ‘axe’ cypher.
Shade is not original to the lamp and not included (for demonstration only).
Currently wired for European use; cord will be replaced, unless otherwise requested.

Oblong tray by Couroc of Monterey, California with an Aztec/Native American/Southwest-style pottery bowl with ‘deer’ motif along side a sheaf of wheat (circa 1960s).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with inlaid wood, pigment and brass accents.
Retains the Couroc manufacturer’s foil label.
Overall, very good, vintage condition.

Pair of Vintage German Carved Black Forest Mounted Deer Wall Sculptures

Set of two similar Black Forest carved and hand-painted ‘stag’ sculptures with real antlers mounted to decorative ‘wreath’ plaques for wall hanging (ca. 1930s/40s, Germany).
One deer is slightly darker than the other, apparent only in direct sunlight (one appears dark brown, the other black).
Charming pieces in very good, vintage condition retaining the original paint with naturally aged patina/light wear consistent with age/use, as shown. There are also red paint spots/patches (the undercoat) revealed on one the deer.

Vintage ‘Prancing Deer’ Framed Enamel on Copper

Circa 1960s framed enamel on copper artwork by Hedy “Lindi” Gershman of Omaha, NE. Gershman was known for her enamel winter landscapes, often featuring deer as the subject. This piece depicts two prancing deer before a blood-orange moon with barren trees and a snow-covered ground as the backdrop. Includes the original frame with the bracket for mounting. (Does not include the easel.)
