1940s Leather Equestrian ‘Feed Bag’ by Enid Collins
Early and rare Collins of Texas ‘feed bag’ composed of saddle leather trimmed in brass casting. The leather bag houses an enamel ‘feed bucket,’ conceived as a stylish, yet practical vessel for horse feed. Alternatively, this bucket-bag combination can be used as a wastebasket.
Nice age / patina to the leather with one spot of separation where one of the two brass loops rests. Spots of loss to the enamel bucket. Interior leather is branded with the ‘Collins of Texas’ mustang logo.

French Deco Leather and Mohair Daybed
$2,200.00This versatile French deco daybed (circa late 1930s) can be converted from a bench to daybed, when the arms are removed and reoriented into the appropriate frame fittings. The stained mahogany trim complements both the rust-colored mohair cushion and the dark coral leather beautifully. The piece retains its original leather and mohair cushion (a typical upholstery contrast of the Deco period). Unique feature to the piece is the storage compartment under the seat, which can be accessed when the cushion is removed. There is one old repair to a section of the mahogany trim (not visible when this side is positioned in the back). There are also small spots of loss to the mohair cushion throughout and expected age to the leather. One of the adjustable sides rests slightly lower than the other, by design (the higher side was intended for the headrest, while the lower, the foot). Overall, this piece is in good, vintage condition with expected wear commensurate with age. Length when fully extended (as daybed): 82″ Length with arms up (as bench): 52″.

Pair of Diminutive French Leather Club Chairs
These small club chairs were designed in France between the mid-1920s through the early 1930s and are composed of leather frames and velvet cushions (an upholstery contrast that was typical for the period). However, the cushions were likely updated in the mid-20th century. ‘Mustache’ design tops with intricate stud / nailhead decoration throughout in both metal and brass. Designed to be both narrow and low, these chairs are intentionally form-fitting and comfortably snug. Springs and frame remain intact and effective in terms of structural support. Beautiful patina and nice wear commensurate with age. Interior seat space is W 19″ x D 23″ Arm height 20.5″ Seat height (with cushion) 15″ Seat height (without cushion) 11″.

Pair of French Deco Leather ‘Mustache’ Club Chairs
Robust, handsome pair of 1930s French club chairs sourced in the south of France in supple sheep hide leather with ‘mustache’ back and nailhead decoration to the back border.
Presented as ‘his and hers,’ given the slight proportional differences (one of the chairs is marginally shorter with a slightly different shape to the front legs, though the overall shape and pattern are identical).
Perfectly, naturally aged with beautiful patina and moderate wear consistent with age/use (scratches, most prominently to one of the armrests, and leather peeling throughout, as shown). Additionally, a patch of leather loss to one of the cushions was left untouched to reveal the horsehair stuffing within (not visible where the cushion is positioned on the seat).
The chairs show well, are void of any structural issues, and have been conservatively restored (fully cleaned and conditioned with light mending to the front of one of the cushions).
Cushions are signed by, presumably, the artists who had a hand in making the chairs (two signatures on the underside of one cushion, one to the other).
Measures:
Shorter chair: H 34.5″ x W 33″ x D 33″ x Seat Height 17″ / without cushion 11.5″
Taller chair: H 36″ x W 33″ x D 33″ x Seat Height 17.5″ / without cushion 11.75″.

Scandinavian Deco Club Chairs in Blue Leather and Velvet
Fantastic pair of lush club chairs with spring seats and turquoise leather frames. The blue velvet cushions and corresponding lining under the loose cushion are a relatively recent addition (past decade or so). Velvet is in excellent, vintage condition, and the leather is nicely aged showing wear commensurate with use. The front feet retain most of the original white paint, exposing the mahogany underneath where there is loss. The back mahogany cylindrical feet retain none of the original paint (perhaps by design).
