Pair of Danish Modern Chests in Teak
1960s Danish modern chests in teak with sculpted pulls on turned, tapered teak legs with brass feet. The chest of drawers has four drawers, and the corresponding cabinet has two sliding doors, which open to reveal a felt-lined, shallow drawer atop open storage divided by an adjustable shelf (both sides of the cabinet are identical and have the same drawer / shelf configuration).
Bookmatched veneer and beautiful teak grain / color.
Nice, refinished condition, but slight wear remains (few light scuffs to the tops, as shown).
Unfinished backs.

1960s Danish nightstands in teak with original white painted pulls and base. Beautiful contrast of the matte white against the rich color and texture of the teak. Minor paint loss to the base, as pictured. Frame has been refinished.

Set of Three Italian Modernist Mahogany Cabinets / Chests by Longato Arredamenti
$4,800.00Set of three petite mahogany chests/oversized nightstands (two cabinets and one chest of drawers) which can be displayed together for sideboard or credenza use with highly stylized anodized aluminum pulls and sabots by Longato Arredamenti of Padova (circa 1960s, Italy).
Jonathan de Pas, Donato D’Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi were among the most notable designers for Longato Arredamenti, which began manufacturing Italian furniture in 1965.
The two cabinets are each composed of two doors, which open to reveal open storage flanked by an adjustable / removable shelf. The single chest is identical in size with corresponding pulls in a horizontal orientation but with a four-drawer construction.
Conservatively refinished condition, though wear remains (light scuffs, mostly to the edging, and light wear to the aluminum, as shown).
This listing is for all three pieces – two cabinets and one chest of drawers.
