Duo of 1950s Freeman & McFarlin Potteries of California gilded ceramic cats designed by Maynard Anthony Freeman. Whimsical subject and beautiful gold leaf detail. Good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age / use and small patches of gilt loss, as pictured. Sold as a pair (cat and kitten).
Signed ‘Anthony’ to underside.

Vintage Acrylic and Teak Abstract Cat Sculpture by Robert D. Harvey
$850.00Robert D. Harvey (b. 1927-2015 – Marshfield, MA, USA) abstract sculpture composed of cut acrylic / Lucite (both smoked and transparent) and sculpted walnut assembled to represent a cat. Mounted to an ebonized pine board, circa 1970s. This sculpture is a rare example from Harvey, a graduate of the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, who was almost exclusively known as an accomplished painter.
Unique piece in nice, original condition sans light scratches to the clear acrylic ‘face’ cut out, along with minor, overall wear. There is additionally one spot of walnut loss to one corner, as pictured.
Artist signed and stamped with address and telephone number.
