“Femina el Fera” Figural Studio Stoneware Vase / Candleholder Signed Polk
$900.00Bulbous-form figural ceramic vase / candleholder. Marvelous textural elements: an unglazed slab with a hole for a candle or flowers was applied to an orb-shaped base with a woman’s face on the front and a beastly figure on the back (hence, the incised script on the front ‘Femina el Fera,” translating from Catalan to mean “Female Beast”). Intriguing piece, with nice patina / wear from age (namely craze lines, as shown).
Incised “Polk” signature present to the underside.

Lovely pair of Danish Modern 1960s candlesticks with nice sculptural form. Black paint is original, and there is minor wear commensurate with use (minor indentations. as pictured). Overall, in very nice, vintage condition.

Decorative wall-mounted ceramic plaque / wall sconce / candleholder in slate gray with hand-painted gold and green details. Only a couple tiny spots of paint loss, as shown. Otherwise, in nice, vintage condition.
Incised model number and ‘Denmark’ to the reverse.

Versatile piece with two separate holders of varying heights at either end – one is short, designed for a candle, while the other is long for accommodating flowers.
Very good, vintage condition with scuffs to top and bottom, as shown, along with a tiny fleck to one side (barely visible as seen in the seventh picture with the transparent side facing front).
