Mid-Century Modern Brass and Walnut Tension Pole Lamp with Cased Glass Fixtures
American Modern tension lamp composed of a brass and walnut veneer pole supporting a tubular brass ellipse carriage, which houses three, cylindrical white cased-glass fixtures, circa 1950s. Easily transportable and simple to assemble / disassemble: brass cradle can be removed from the pole, which can break down into two pieces. The fixtures are mounted to brass pegs, which screw on and off with ease.
Since this is a tension lamp, ceiling height is crucial, unless utilizing an additional base to add height.

Brass shows rich, age-appropriate patina / spots of tarnish; glass is free of any chips or losses. Will be presented newly rewired.

Shapely circa 1950s American basket composed of wire brass rods, a braided handle and ball feet. Suitable for holding fruit, eggs, small accessories, etc. There is minor wear / tarnish to the brass, which is in original, unpolished condition. Otherwise, in very nice, vintage condition.

Vintage fireplace tool set including the stand, shovel, broom, poker, and tongs (ca. 1950s, USA).
Tongs feature ‘hand’ grabbers reminiscent of a design by Carl Auböck, though maker is unknown.
Luxurious set in newly polished condition with only a few light scuffs present, as shown.

Circa 1950s American Modern cigarette case / trinket box composed of a satin-brass finished case / hinged lid with an enamel-decorated front. The landscape imagery appears to depict a row of canyons set amid the starry night sky. Attractive combination of colors. Excellent, vintage condition.

Mid-Century Modern Four-Fixture Brass Table Lamp
Mid-century brass table lamp composed of four-fixtures and corresponding ‘tapers’ that intersect at a central stem. Paired with a beige woven-linen shade and newly fabricated acrylic diffuser for even light distribution. Brass has been left unpolished and shows tarnish in places and nice patina. Otherwise, in excellent, vintage condition, newly rewired and ready for use.
Likely manufactured in the late 1950s-early 1960s by Stiffel, but unmarked.

Different versions of this design were executed – this example is one of the floor models including a cradle/holder with sleek tripod base supported by brass orb feet housing the shovel, brush, and poker/log turner.
Modernist design, visually striking and functional.
Very good, vintage condition with only minimal wear, as shown (light wear to iron elements and small, minor edge wear/light patina to brass fins). Brass has been newly polished.

Mid-Century Three Pendant Solid Brass Chandelier after Paavo Tynell
Mid-Century Walnut and Rosewood Executive Desk by Edward Wormley for Dunbar
$4,800.00Edward J. Wormely for Dunbar executive desk in walnut with deeply sculpted inset rosewood drawer pulls, brass shoes, and removable woven cane privacy screen (ca. 1950s, Indiana, USA). Scarcely seen shorter version of the otherwise comparable 811 model, offering an abundance of storage options despite its relatively small footprint (60″ L).
Features two drawers on the left side (a multi-tiered bottom drawer below a shallow drawer and sliding writing surface with brass pull). The right side is composed of a companion sliding writing surface with brass pull and two shallow drawers flanked by a dedicated file drawer. Additionally, there is a lockable pencil drawer in the middle (key present).
The removable privacy/modesty screen is suspended between four brass spacers and shows light patches of cane loss. The walnut has been refinished and light wear remains (a couple of edge gouges, a surface scuff, and one veneer repair to one of the drawers’s edges). Overall, very good, vintage condition with wear commensurate with use/age.
Retains the Dunbar metal tag to top left drawer.
