Postmodern geometric brass vases by James Johnston for Balos, which operated in both Hong Kong and Taiwan, ca. 1980.
Unique, elegant objet d’art with a triangular opening for use as vase. Base retains its black-felt and “Balos Tawian” manufacturing tag.
Newly polished; only light patina/wear remains, as shown. Additionally, the interior shows tarnish/wear from use.

Metal floor lamp with verdigris patina, brass embellishments and the original brass shade, all supported by a tripod base (ca. 1980s, USA). Excellent, vintage condition sans minor spots of loss to the applied verdigris finish, as shown, along with rich patina / light scuffs to the shade, otherwise in original condition.

Brutalist Laurel table lamp by Richard Barr. This model first appeared in the 1965 Laurel “Studio Collection” catalog. Composed of a hammered and polished brass frame on walnut base. Nice, contrasting textures and elegant, sculptural form.
Excellent, vintage condition with only minor, wear commensurate with age and use.

Sculptural Mid-Century American Modern Cased Glass and Brass Table/Floor Lamp

Felted feet suggest that the piece was designed as an oversized table lamp (works well on a credenza or larger surface), but also works well as a shorter floor lamp.
Rewired but retains its three-way switch, allowing for a variety of lighting options.
Brass has minimal wear and discoloration.

Set of Eight Stained Mahogany and Cane Directional Dining Chairs by Paul McCobb

Set of eight (two arm and six side) Paul Mccobb Directional dining chairs produced by H. Sacks & Sons of Boston, MA for their Connoisseur collection in 1956 (model number 7001 side chairs and 7009 arm chairs). Stained mahogany sculptural frames with cane-back head rests and newly upholstered linen seats, which beautifully complement the caning. The base stretchers are adorned with brass accents on both sides.
Excellent, restored condition (frames have been expertly refinished and linen upholstery / foam are new). The caning was replaced within the last decade and is sound.
