Pair of Brass Finish “Ladder-Form” Bookends by Ben Seibel for Jenfred Ware
“Ladder” bookends designed by Ben Seibel for Jenfred Ware in the 1950s (New York) and distributed by Raymor.
Beautifully aged with a rich, patinated brass finish. Wear throughout, as shown (spotting, tarnish, etc.). Original, unpolished condition.
One bookend retains the Ben Seibel Jenfred Ware tag.

Pair of Brass Gooseneck Floor Lamps by Koch and Lowy
Pair of 1950s Koch and Lowy brass floor lamps with cylindrical fixtures and painted wooden ‘orb’ on / off knobs (one green, one yellow, later additions to the lamps that can easily be swapped out for traditional switches). Each shade articulates via a brass gooseneck stem allowing for multiple adjustments. Shades are in polished condition; bases are original and show minor wear / patina. Overall, in nice, vintage condition with minimal wear commensurate with age and use. Measures: Height (lowest) 39″ Height (highest) 59.75″ (with full adjustability in between). One of the images shows one lamp extended the highest and the other lowered to the lowest.

Pair of Brutalist Mixed-Metal Sunburst Wall Sconces
Glamorous 1960s wall sconces / candleholders in torch-cut mixed metal with original gold paint. Metal spires have a smattering of applied shimmering flecks and patinated tips for contrast. Each sconce has a bracket in the back for wall-mounting and a soldered candleholder for illumination (accommodates a tapered candle).
Measures: H 10.25″ x W 10.25″ x D 7.25″.
Pair of Cedric Hartman Adjustable Polished Brass Floor Lamps
Cedric Hartman adjustable floor lamps with swiveling shades and pivoting arms, circa 1970s. Additionally, the height is adjustable by raising / lowering the stem, and Hartman’s signature Lucite dimmer / on and off switch is fully intact.. Pair includes the scarcely seen original diffusers. Signature present to both bases, the serial number 920025 present to one of the two. Newly polished condition, minor cloudiness / spots of tarnish / light scuffs remain. Overall, fine vintage condition.

Pair of Decorative Ceramic and Brass Lamps by Gerald Thurston
$3,200.00Elegant, sculptural table lamps by Gerald Thurston — cream and light taupe ceramic form with patinated brass base and accents. Each lamp features a triple socket, serving as an ample light source. Excellent, vintage condition with original pull strings and finials, all in solid brass. There is minor wear / loss to the white paint of the underside of the sockets along with a couple of small scuffs to the brass bases (brass has been polished; minor wear remains). Discoloration to parts of the ceramic are original (the taupe glaze runs into the cream in a few places).
Includes new acrylic diffusers.

Elegant table lamps by Gerald Thurston in matte white ceramic with brass accents. Sculptural-form with graduated design. Each lamp features a triple socket, serving as an ample light source. Excellent, vintage condition with original pull strings and finials, all in solid brass. There is minor wear to the white paint of the underside of the socket; no other flaws to note.

Pair of “Adjusto-Lite” clip lamps in heavily patinated brass by Farberware of Brooklyn, NY (USA, ca. 1920s).
Dome shades have swiveling/tilting adjustability providing a nice range of light diffusion.
Good, original condition with heavy patina/spotting present, as shown. Newly re-wired.

Pair of English Linen and Mahogany Club Chairs Attributed to George Smith
Pair of oversized club chairs attributed to George Smith with English scroll arms and caster wheels on the turned front mahogany legs allowing for easy mobility (back feet have no casters for added stability).
Wide, comfortable seats measuring 33″ L (seat edge to edge) / 23″ (shortest seat length) x 24″ seat depth.
These were formerly reupholstered around the late 1980s by Avanti and retain the company’s fabric tag. If there were any manufacturer medallions at that time, they were removed during reupholstery.
Newly upholstered in gray Kravet Italian 100% linen (32073-11) with embroidered throw pillows and new foam throughout.
Excellent, restored condition with patina/tarnish to the brass and light wear to the mahogany (feet have been left in original condition and show good age consistent with wear and use).

Pair of Enrique Garcel Lacquer, Resin and Brass Candlesticks
Glamorous pair of Hollywood Regency style candlesticks made by Enrique Garcel (Colombia, circa late 1970s-early 1980s). They are composed of organic material wrapped in a glass like resin with solid brass accents. Given the handmade nature of these items, there is slight color and pattern variation to each stick. However, they were made to be a pair. A truly unique set boasting impressive scale, intricate pattern and unusual use of materials.
There is only minor wear to the brass, commensurate with age and use. However, we opted to keep these unrestored (unpolished), as Garcel candlesticks are scarce, particularly in original condition.
Both sticks retain the Enrique Garcel Colombia tags.

Scarcely seen, short, deep examples (H: 14.25″ x L: 14.88″ x D: 22.38″).
Patina/light wear to unpolished brass bases; cases have been professionally re-lacquered in a cordovan color — an identical match to the original lacquer. One continuous crazing line present (very hard to detect and only visible in direct sunlight, as shown). Additionally, there is light cloudiness to one side. Overall, very fine, vintage condition.

Pair of Italian Modernist Rosewood Single-Drawer Nightstands/Bedside Tables
Pair of rosewood nightstands/bedside tables with single drawers and brass pulls along with deeply sculpted, splayed legs (ca. 1950s, Italy). Ample surface spaces with split level tempered glass and glass covered white laminate tops.
Very good, newly refinished condition with only an edge ding/light wear to the rosewood, and a spot of white laminate loss under the glass surface, as shown.
