1950s Austrian Brass ‘Lily’ Table Lamp Attributed to J.T. Kalmar
$2,200.00Mid-20th century table lamp composed of a pale-yellow, oversized shade (resembling a lily petal) with an interior black metal socket and tubular brass base / brass hardware. Simple, yet stunning piece attributed to J.T. Kalmar of Austria.
Painted metal components (both interior socket and exterior shade) are in original condition; brass has been polished. Nice, vintage shape with minor paint loss to the shade (mostly in the back) and small spots of paint loss to the socket.
On / off switch has been added, and the lamp has been fully rewired.

Mid-Century Viennese bear figurine designed by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller as part of “Black Golden Line” (Austria, ca. 1950).
Composed of solid brass patinated in a black finish, which is then polished off in places to reveal only the brass details of edges and nose.
Can be used as a candleholder for a small, round votive, ashtray, or a stand-alone decorative object.
Very small size: H: 1″ x D: 1.5″ x L: 2.63″ (orange ping-pong ball measuring 1.5″ in diameter is used to illustrate both the scale of the bear and size of candle the ‘cradle’ can accommodate).
Very good, vintage with light wear/patina consistent with age/use.
Retains the “Made in Austria” tag to the reverse.

Vintage Austrian Studio Pottery Owl by Rattenberger Töpferladen
Abstract ceramic owl hand-made by the Rattenberger Töpferladen studio in Austria circa late 1980s / early 1990s. Very unique decorative object with a beautiful blend of greens and browns. Slits / cut-out in the back suggest that the piece was designed to accommodate a flameless votive candle holder.
Ping-pong ball is used to illustrate scale: the piece measures H: 5.25″ x Diameter: 4.9″
