American of Martinsville Jewelry Cabinet
$1,500.00Originally designed in the 1950s by American of Martinsville as the smaller ‘chest-on-chest’ component to sit atop the corresponding sideboard, this piece can be used to hold smaller linens, napkin rings, and silverware. However, its more practical, contemporary application is as a jewelry cabinet. Composed of a bleached mahogany frame with aluminum pulls and hour-glass feet. There are two small drawers above a divided low drawer with the original felt. Scarcely seen in this original finish / condition. There are minor losses to the edges and a light scuff to the top, as photographed. Overall, in good, vintage condition.

Art Deco Cast Aluminum, Bakelite and Steel Fire Tools
$2,400.00Vintage four-piece fire tool set including the shovel, brush, poker, and blow poke (ca. 1940s, USA). Stand is composed of a black weighted steel base and bakelite holder. All handles (stand and tools) are cast aluminum.
Good, vintage condition with paint losses to the silver steel along with general wear, as shown.
The brush is branded by the manufacturer, indicating that the bristles are white tampico.
The manufacturer of the set itself if unknown.

Presently wired for European use (max 250v). Will be presented newly rewired for US use.

Ico Parisi for Stildomus “Temide” Palisander Umbrella Stand with Drip Pan
$3,600.00Model 1703 “Temide” architectural umbrella stand (portaombrelli) in palisander with polished aluminum trim by architect/designer Ico Parisi for Stildomus (ca. 1960, Italy).
Retains its original painted metal drip pan, which is usually missing (pan can double as an ashtray when stand is turned over and tray is placed on top of the slats).
The scarcely seen red metal drip pan shows wear from age and use, and was repainted at some point (original orange/red paint can be seen on the reverse). Palisander has been conservatively refinished and, along with the aluminum border, shows only minor wear.

Italian Modernist Aluminum “Mela” Ice Bucket by Ettore Sottsass for Rinnovel
Mid-Century Italian Modern “mela” (“apple” in English) ice bucket by Ettore Sottsass for Rinnovel (1953, Italy). Early, large example (there were a few different sizes made, including a much smaller apple, also available) composed of silver anodized aluminum with a rose-gold tinted interior and brass-color stem, which serves as the handle for removing the top.
Aluminum has been newly polished but shows wear (scuffs, one impression, and spots of oxidation/discoloration to the lid, as shown). Overall, good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
Branded “Made in Italy.”

Large Italian Modern Brass and Milk Glass Chandelier by Lamperti
$7,600.00Impressive 1970s chandelier by Lamperti composed of three spherical milk glass shades housed in anodized aluminum ‘cradles,’ all supported by tubular brass stems / canopy. Elegant form and large-scale (40″ H x 25″ Diameter) with most produced in chrome making gold aluminum/brass versions more scarce.
Beautiful, vintage condition with minor scuffs / scratches to the anodized aluminum, as shown. Solid brass stems have been left in original, unpolished condition and show light tarnish.
From the collection of a prominent French collector whose London flat was extensively photographed for publications, including House and Garden UK from which the last photograph in the listing was taken.
