1970s James Mont Style Ebonized Armoire
$1,800.00This majestic armoire in the style of James Mont features two sliding milk glass doors, a black lacquered frame, three adjustable shelves on the top, and one built-in shelf on the bottom. The two bottom doors open to reveal the one built-in shelf, while the sliding milk glass doors conceal the three adjustable. The open circular pulls are brass, and the trim around the lacquer is hand-applied gilt. The piece is in original condition with age-appropriate loss / wear to the brass pulls and wear to parts of the original ebony lacquer. The milk glass is pristine, and the cabinet is in great condition for the age. This piece comes with the original brass key which locks and unlocks the bottom cabinet.

American of Martinsville Jewelry Cabinet
$1,500.00Originally designed in the 1950s by American of Martinsville as the smaller ‘chest-on-chest’ component to sit atop the corresponding sideboard, this piece can be used to hold smaller linens, napkin rings, and silverware. However, its more practical, contemporary application is as a jewelry cabinet. Composed of a bleached mahogany frame with aluminum pulls and hour-glass feet. There are two small drawers above a divided low drawer with the original felt. Scarcely seen in this original finish / condition. There are minor losses to the edges and a light scuff to the top, as photographed. Overall, in good, vintage condition.

Antique Primitive Jelly Cupboard with Hinged Door and Interior Shelf
$700.00Diminutive jelly cupboard with hinged door opening to reveal a fixed shelf, which separates the interior into two sections of storage (ca. mid-late 19th Century, New England, USA).
Metal hardware is a later addition (ca. 1940s/50s), as is the layer of light blue/green paint (top layer is worn in an attractive crackle pattern revealing the original blue color beneath – back retains original blue paint).
The yellow vinyl surface had been previously added via metal tacks in order to conceal largely unfinished wood. It can be removed, but the surface has large swaths of missing paint.
The overall look is naturally and desirably distressed, with paint loss and wear commensurate with age.

Unique, graceful pyramid/obelisk-form with four rectangular shelves in faux wood grain laminated pressboard and a rattan basket. Shelves are mounted by screws and can be removed, if a different shelving material is preferred.
Practical, aesthetically pleasing storage/display solution occupying a small footprint.
Good, vintage condition with losses to the shelves, as shown. Remains a visually stunning, structurally sound, rare design by Umanoff. All original condition including all parts (note that the vacant space at the top was designed without a shelf, evidenced by the absence of ‘ledge’ on which the other shelves rest).

Early Americana Painted Wood Monogrammed Trunk
$2,800.00Primitive trunk / chest composed of a hinged wood plank top and painted wooden frame with brass and steel embellishments (brass nailheads with hand-hammered steel handles / hinges / locking mechanism, which is no longer operational) circa 18th century. Monogram believed to read “APJ” present to the front, though faint and difficult to decipher, as the chest was repainted at some point (“new” paint is estimated to be at least 100 years old).
Losses (both wood and brass nailheads), general wear, and unevenness to the painted surfaces present. Overall, fine, antique condition, intact and structurally sound.
Exceptional example of early Americana.
