Single Mid-Century Modern Spun Plastic Rotaflex Pendant Lamp by Yasha Heifetz
$2,000.00Single Yasha Heifetz Rotoflex ‘saucer’ pendant in spun plastic (ca. 1960s, USA). The exact process involves mold spinning thermoplastic bioplastic cord while simultaneously brushing on acetone mixture as it spins. The resulting product is cellulose acetate, an early acrylic, which is lighter than glass and more robust than paper. It emits a warm, lovely light.

Wiring, single socket, and supporting hardware have been replaced. LED Party Bulbs have been used for demonstration purposes in each fixture to show how utilizing different colored bulbs transforms these fixtures. Though, they additionally emit a warm, lovely light when standard, soft white bulbs are employed. Maximum wattage/socket is 110/230 Volt.
Did not initially include a canopy.

Single-Arm Counterbalance Chrome Globe Floor Lamp by Arteluce

Composed of a single, counterbalanced arm with an adjustable globe shade and leather wrapped handle, all supported by a black enameled shaft and tripod base.
The plastic clasp has been replaced with a far superior Italian maple orb clasp of the same era.
Light enamel loss present and light scuffs to the chrome shade, as shown. Overall, very good, vintage condition.

Swedish Modern Cased Glass Lamp by Laurel
$800.00This elegant frosted / cased table lamp was manufactured by Laurel in the 1960s. Despite being primarily an American company, Laurel hired designers from Europe (in this case, the designer is unknown, but the piece retains the ‘made in Sweden’ sticker). The chrome bolts at the base loosen the base to change the bulb. Newly re-wired with on / off switch. Beautiful, simple design.

Tall Danish Modern Turned Teak Lamp by ESA
$1,600.001960s sculptural turned teak Danish lamp by ESA. Features a counterweighted base to better support the tall form. Retains the brass insert on the underside bearing the ‘ESA, Made in Denmark’ manufacturer’s mark. Newly rewired; the silk cord is shown in the images.

Tall Swedish Modern Brass Table Lamp Model B66 by Hans Agne Jakobsson
$3,200.00Tall table lamp model B66 in solid brass by Hans Agne Jakobsson in (ca. 1960s, Markaryd, Sweden).
Original condition retaining the scarcely seen, original linen shade with brass banding to the top and bottom, bakelite switch, and bakelite socket.
Very good, original condition with patina/age to the unpolished brass, a couple of scuffs to the brass border of the shade, a small dent to the shade, and a small loss to the bakelite socket, as shown.
Branded signature present to the reverse.
Sourced in Rome, Italy (hence, has an Italian plug, which will be changed for US use, unless otherwise requested).

Chrome has been buffed and cleaned; light wear remains (scratches / pitting spots to base; few pit indentations to the shade).

Vintage American Airplane Table Lamp with Illuminated Wings
$3,200.00Charming, scarcely seen airplane table lamp, ca. 1940s/early 1950s, USA.
Plane itself is maple with steel accents and ribbon lined plastic wings as shades mounted to a tubular brass angled support atop stepped stained oak and mahogany base with black painted rim. Non-adjustable – airplane sits fixed at an angle though about to take flight.
A similar, slightly smaller example sold at the September 5, 2013 Christie’s “Out of the Ordinary” auction.
Very clean condition with patina/light tarnish to the unpolished brass and steel and a few small scuffs to the wood. Remarkable shape for its age/use, particularly compared with every other documented example.
Wiring, sockets, and cord are newly replaced.

Vintage Blown Amethyst Glass Table Lamp with Enameled Metal Double Socket
$950.00Striking blown glass bottle fashioned as a lamp with the addition of a gold-painted wooden base and a blue enameled metal double socket (all parts are original – the gold wooden base has been freshly painted to match the original finish). Glass is a striking purple / amethyst and is free of chips / cracks, though shows light wear (few white spots present).
Retains the vintage (ca. 1960s) Macy’s retailer tag.
