Vintage Triptych Vanity / Wall Mirror

Circa 1940s American triptych wall / table / vanity mirror composed of three hinged circular panels framed in painted black oak that offer limited adjustability (the end panels do not completely collapse / fold in to stack on top of the middle panel, as the design suggests. They only partially close inward). Additionally, when sitting on a table, the panels cannot completely extend out. The end panels must slant inward only slightly to ensure stability. If wall-mounting is preferred, the panels can extend fully outward, since balancing on a surface will not be required.
The glass shows wear (spotting throughout that doesn’t obscure the reflected image, but can distract). The frame, which retains its original ebony lacquer, shows only minor wear / unevenness of finish in places.
Overall, the piece is in good, vintage shape.
Each panel measures H 11″ x D .5″ x L 10.5″
The dimensions reflecting the mirror extended as far as possible on a tabletop: H 11″ x L: 28.25″ x D: 3″
The dimensions of the mirror completely extended, only possible in the case of wall-mounting: H 11″ x L 32″ x D .5″
