Vintage Orange Enamel on Copper Dish by Bovano

Striking Mid-Century Modern enamel decorative dish by Bovano of Connecticut. The technique popularized by Bovano incorporates fusing powdered glass to metal (in this case, copper) to create a beautiful work of enamel art. The decoration, an asymmetrical smattering of circles, almost has a jewel-like appearance with rich luster / sheen.
A beautiful, uniquely elongated piece of enamel that can be used for display or serving purposes. No issues to note; dish is in very nice, vintage condition.
Retains the ‘Handcrafted by Bovano Cheshire, Conn’ sicker to the black enamel underside.
