Mid-century Walnut Illuminated Credenza by Kipp Stewart for Drexel Declaration

1950s walnut credenza / sideboard designed by Kipp Stewart for Drexel’s “Declaration” line. Composed of two sets of hinged doors which open to reveal a single, removable shelf per side with a light that automatically turns on when the doors are opened (two lights in total: one / section). The left side additionally features two horizontal storage cubbies for books or records (all shelves, horizontal and vertical, can be removed).
The two top drawers provide additional storage: the left is open, the right is felted and separated into six sections by dividers, which can also be removed. Retains the original, lesser seen brass ball drawer pulls.
Very good, refinished condition, sans a couple of surface scuffs. There are two small factory holes already punctured through the unfinished back for cords.
Measures: H 31.25″ x L 60″ x D 20″ / 21″ (accounting for the pulls)
Each of the two interior storage sections measures: H 14.5″ x D 19.5″ x L 28.75″
