Mid-Century Modern Magenta and Pink Enamel on Copper Dish

Incredible Mid-Century Modern enamel decorative dish. This example, in vibrant magenta and pink, is relatively small in scale (7″ in diameter), but bold in design / palette.
The technique employed incorporates fusing powdered glass to metal (in this case, copper) to create a beautiful work of enamel art. The decoration, an asymmetrical, abstract smattering of irregular-circles, almost has a jewel-like appearance with rich luster / sheen. There is also veining throughout the pink enamel. The simple form and small size are contrasted with the vivid colors and nice texture that the pattern introduces.
A beautiful piece of enamel that can be used for display purposes or as a soap / keys / jewelry dish.
Signed ‘B’ to underside.
Piece is in very nice, vintage condition with no flaws to note.
