Early ‘Nesso’ Table Lamp Designed by Giancarlo Mattioli for Artemide

Early example (late 1960s) ‘Nesso’ table lamp designed by Giancarlo Mattioli and Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti for Artemide. Unlike the later re-issues of this iconic lamp, this example was formed using ABS Thermoplastic Injection molding technology. Mushroom shape composed of a flared stem with four sockets and wide ‘umbrella’ top. Excellent, vintage condition sans a small 1″ long crack by cord outlet. (Wear is in the back, and isn’t visible from the front.)
