Danish Teak Tri-Fold Wall Mirror by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard

Folding triptych tabletop or wall-mounted mirror crafted in teak designed by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard (circa 1960s, Denmark) composed of three hinged-sections (the two end sections can fold in partially or fully). Equipped with brackets, if wall-mounting is preferred. Finished on all sides (including the back) and shows well from all angles atop a vanity or dresser.
The mirror itself is somewhat cloudy but free of scratches / significant wear. The cloudiness of the glass doesn’t obstruct the view; it still delivers a satisfactory reflection, albeit slightly hazy. Teak is in excellent, vintage condition.
The larger middle mirror panel measures: 22.75″ L
The end panels each measure: 11.25″ L
Fully extended: H: 17″ x L: 44.5″ x D: 3″
Fully closed: H: 17″ x L: 22.75″ x D: 1.75″
(Listed specs reflect mirror fully open.)
