1940s Leather Equestrian ‘Feed Bag’ by Enid Collins

Early and rare Collins of Texas ‘feed bag’ composed of saddle leather trimmed in brass casting. The leather bag houses an enamel ‘feed bucket,’ conceived as a stylish, yet practical vessel for horse feed. Alternatively, this bucket-bag combination can be used as a wastebasket.
Nice age / patina to the leather with one spot of separation where one of the two brass loops rests. Spots of loss to the enamel bucket. Interior leather is branded with the ‘Collins of Texas’ mustang logo.
